Strike at Onitio Solutions due to unsuccessful negotiations on the IKT-agreement

There was a breakdown in the negotiations at the National Mediator's office on the IKT agreement between Abelia and the EL and IT Federation, which ran overtime on the night of June 27th. This means that the EL and IT Federation called out members on strike from June 27th.

Onitio Solutions Norge AS is affected in the following areas:

A total of 18 employees are on strike:

  • 10 from the Service Desk
  • 3 from the project, order, and product-office
  • 3 warehouse workers
  • 2 IT operations operators

From Onitio Norge AS (technical services), the following are on strike:

  • 41 service technicians (out of 255 in total)
  • 11 specialists, workshop employees, and hired consultants
  • 16 administrative staff

In general, all our departments will be staffed and under control. However, we expect some longer handling times for incidents and response times on the phone. Unfortunately, some projects and installations may need to be postponed. Onitio is committed to follow the rules of the labor market, and therefore, we have limited room to bring in additional labor in a strike situation.

For technical assignments within service and installation, Onitio is especially exposed in Vestfold and Telemark. Our emergency technicians for critical situations outside office hours are maintained in all locations.

We will prioritize based on the severity, with critical societal incidents being given the highest priority.

It is impossible to predict the duration of the strike and any potential escalation. As soon as the strike is over, we will work to catchup on any backlog caused by the strike.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your continued support and cooperation. Please feel free to contact us at Onitio Solutions Norge if you have any questions.

Have a great summer!

More information will be provided when the situation changes.

Best regards,

Dennis Hedö
